My journey began in 2010, at just 5 months pregnant preclampsia set in, causing my blood pressure to elevate to 300mmHg exceeding 3x normal reading.

I was rushed into hospital with severe heart pain, where I had an emergency C-section, leaving me in a 3 day coma and my 2 lbs new born baby girl in a special care unit for premature babies. Upon awakening from my coma, I was diagnosed with hypertension and ME and was told that I would have to live the rest of my life on medication, however I had different plans.
After being admitted in the hospital for months they could not find the root cause of the problem. But I was determined to restore my health and mobility without the negative side effects of the daily medication. I decided to take control of my own health, but little did I know at the time, this was the start of my Exclusively Unique journey.
